Dear Nora,
I have always admired u since the minute I saw you on my TV.
You really helped me to believe that nothing can’t be done. It also helped my mom believe I was ready for a cat, so we adopted a beautiful Siamese mix named Charlotte. Anyway I have a question for you, how often do you practice? Also, how old are you? I would like to get to know you better so please write back soon.
From Alandra & Charlotte

Hi!
My cat, Cocotte, is also a piano-playing cat…. In fact, I should say a stepping piano cat. ^_^ She loves sitting on the piano/keyboard (Only when it’s on). She has beautifull eyes just like you Nora! Unfortunatly, she’s a rescue and so is scared of big noises…. Even the piano. So I have to tone it down. ;) I have another cat, Silverstream, who is very intelligent. She understood that if we are not in the kitchen, she can get on the table or counter without being showered! Not that she minds…. If we catch her, we spray her with water. She just calmly gets down and begins to like herself…. How do you teach that kind of cat not to go on tables?! She has open cat food bags to get the fresh food… Ans she loves playing pee-ka-boo! (In the bathtub…. >_<) Her sister, Spottedleaf, is very cute but not as intelligent as her sister. You pick her up and she is purring like crazy!! If you *try* to make the bed, she is on the covers and stays there even if you put another blanket on her…. Love your videos Nora and hope you enjoyed my little presentation on my kitties! ;)

Interesting names for your cats… Cocotte, Silverstream, and Spottedleaf. How did you come up with them?

I used to have cat named Mocha she was an outdoor cat but she could open doors to get into the house but she wasn’t allowed in there because my great-granny Hope has a huge allergy for cats but she died 2 years ago in her sleep I think it was the stress her body went through when Nanny ran over her half a year before. I went outside in the middle of the night to get a diet mountain dew which was right next to where she sleeps so I petted her and she was all stiff and cold, I cried myself to sleep holding her in the garage.

Nora has a beauty all her own. Such a strong resemblance to our passed cat, Ashley; she too was rescued from a stray as a kitten which I found. We love her & miss her very much. Much Happiness & Success to you, Nora. :-)

Sorry, Daniella, I can’t speak for Nora; but I do know that she was only 8 weeks old when Betsy spotted her at a PetSmart in New Jersey in 2004. Hence, she would be about 8 now… almost as old as you!

Nora

I have watched you with awe for years now. You are truly a credit to your teacher!!!

I loved the Concerto played with orchestra. So moving.

And of course, it is YOUR piano. I understand that!!!!

Play on and enjoy.
