Rescue Ink is an animal-rescue group dedicated to battling animal abuse and neglect, and educating and informing children and families about the mistreatment of animals. But don’t be fooled: Rescue Ink isn’t your typical rescue organization. These tough-talking tattooed bikers aren’t afraid to use their verbal muscle-power to take the fight against animal abuse to the next level, within the boundaries of the law. The group uses their intimidating presence to shame and report animal abusers and rehabilitate distressed animals.
North Shore Animal League America is the largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization in the world, housing an average of 300 animals at any given time. To date, the Animal League has found homes for almost one million dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. However, this exciting achievement did not happen overnight. The road was long and the efforts great. Many dedicated individuals shared their passion and perseverance in making North Shore Animal League America what it is today.
People used to think that substance abuse in adolescents and teenagers was a direct result of bad parenting—that kids who ended up using were not properly supervised, or that their parents used.
